I started a new novel called Royal Secrets and have about 15,000 words on it. The characters are a prince and the daughter of an ambassador, their loves, and trials. I don’t know who I will send it to yet, probably The Wild Rose Press or Class Act Books. A friend wants me to send it to CAB. Decisions, decisions! But first I have to finish it! I was writing it for Vasko Books, but the editor said having a prince in the story wasn’t working for her. After that, I just kind of ran out of steam. I’ll get going on it again soon I’m sure.
Here is the first paragraph:
Fashion—and elegance—are more than the clothes you wear. They are a lifestyle.
Virginia McDonald had learned that lesson from a man…a beautiful man of class and style…a worldly man born of royalty that, along with his good looks, had vaulted him immediately into the eye of the media and fame. Long before she met him, she’d seen, even sought, photos and news of Abelard Alexander Leandres, everything a prince should be.
